More About Us

We are a society composed of KCL Students who study Philosophy and want to address the issues minority groups face in academic philosophy. Most of the philosophers in our curriculum are (let's be honest) old, white, western men. With the endorsement of the King's College London Philosophy Department, we want to take the time to pick apart the unconscious influences and structural injustices we may have when studying philosophy, and also to promote topics and authors in philosophy that otherwise might be ignored.

We want to create a society of open-minded people, to engage critically and to broaden our perspective and our understanding in all kinds of fields.
